Morgan Anderson and Mrs. Clark STAR teacher and student

Mrs. Clark shared the following about her experience teaching Morgan.

I had the privilege to teach Morgan Anderson language arts through the gifted program.  Throughout her years in the Crisp County School System, I have had the opportunity to witness her hard work and dedication to her academics as well as her leadership and community involvement.  I believe Anderson to be an exemplary student scholar as well as a person of substantial character. She is undoubtedly a self-motivated learner.  She does not falter when faced with a challenge.  Instead, she uses it as a driving force to excel.  Miss Anderson possesses qualities that are unparalleled to other students that I have taught during my nineteen years in education.  She is a very mature learner who seeks constructive feedback that will help her grow emotionally, mentally, and socially. The young lady that I encountered in my language arts class was a solid conscientious student.  Her writing extended well beyond the academic class.  She had a way with words that would mesmerize her readers.  She challenged me as her teacher to push harder.  I believe it was later in her academics that she realized the full potential that her words can have on the world around her.   I have no doubt that Miss Anderson will make a huge imprint on the lives of those who encounter her presence.  She is a natural born leader. Without any hesitation, she is the epitome of a STAR student.

Mrs. Clark has been in education for 19 years.  During this time she taught 7th and 8th grade language arts.  She has experience working with various academic levels.  Mrs. Clark is currently the 7th grade assistant principal and school test coordinator.  In addition to her role as assistant principal, she is  the Middle School liaison for the new teacher mentor program.
