Lily Banda, 6th grade student at Crisp County Middle School, took the top honor at the regional science fair hosted by Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. Lily won the Junior Division and will compete at the state science fair in Athens, Ga. Two other 6th grade students also earned a trip to the state fair in Athens, Rachel Fachini and Rylee Kelly. CCMS took 3 students and all three earned their way to the state competition. A huge thank you to their wonderful teacher, Mrs. Lynn Thomas, for hosting our school science fair and preparing these students for the region competition. The state science fair will be held March 30- April 2, 2023 in Athens, Ga. Let’s congratulate our wonderful students and teacher on such an awesome achievement.
