Red Ribbon Week CCSS

Red Ribbon Week 2025 has kicked off across the Crisp County School District!

The kick-off to the celebration was held at Crisp County High School, with selections from both the band and choir, guest speakers, a powerful video message, and a ribbon cutting.

Red Ribbon Week is not a prevention or an early intervention program. It is an awareness campaign observed annually. We regard Red Ribbon Week as an opportunity to remind students and the community of the importance of living a drug-free life. This year's theme for Crisp County is "PAWS-itively Drug Free."

Our central office staff and Superintendent Dr. Brandon Williams joined students and faculty to celebrate this important week, showing their support for making positive choices and promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

A special thank you to all community members who played a part, including the Crisp County Sheriff's Office, Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce, and several other city leaders in attendance.

Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock gave a strong message to our students, emphasizing the dangers of drug use and how "One pill can kill."

We’re proud to stand together as a district to encourage our students to lead with courage, character, and commitment—on and off campus.
